The review of Evolution is pretty much in tune with what I feel. A lot of fun, but lacking in conviction where the characters are concerned. It’s a shame it lacks the bite of Ghostbusters – though I suspect part of that is that Murray, Ramis and Ackroyd were friends and had worked together previously that lifted their interaction – as I could have seen it developing into its own franchise.
And nice to see the old tensions of nature versus manufacture played out in Jo Thomas’ story.
